Today, we want to dedicate this article to the latest series of grand events that Real Luxury had the honor of organizing between September and November 2024. Four spectacular events involving over 60 guests, 4 Ferraris per event with a total of 6 different car models, and 640 km of scenic roads.
Starting point: Fonteverde Lifestyle & Thermal Retreat in San Casciano dei Bagni
The starting point for each of the Ferrari Tours in Val d’Orcia was the magnificent Fonteverde Lifestyle & Thermal Retreat in San Casciano dei Bagni. San Casciano dei Bagni is a picturesque medieval village known for its charming historic center and natural thermal springs. In addition to offering a refreshing thermal experience with panoramic pools overlooking the hills, the resort combines elegance and wellness in an exclusive setting. It was the perfect starting point for such a fun and adrenaline-filled activity as the Ferrari Tour! Guests were welcomed by the Real Luxury staff for a brief introduction to the cars, their features, and how they work before setting off on the exciting scenic tour.
The Ferrari Cars
For each event, four Ferrari cars were used, with eight guests per tour and two tours per day. The magnificent Ferraris involved were the Ferrari Portofino, Ferrari Portofino M, Ferrari 296 GTS, Ferrari 488 Spider, Ferrari F8 Spider, and Ferrari 812 Superfast. Each, with its unique characteristics, contributed to making these events special and offered the guests diverse and thrilling driving experiences!
Ferrari Tour in Val d’Orcia: Route to Radicofani
The first part of the Ferrari Tour in Val d’Orcia took place along the wonderful roads connecting San Casciano dei Bagni to Radicofani, featuring curves, forests, and views of the valleys. Radicofani is one of the most charming villages in Val d’Orcia, and its profile stands out thanks to its imposing fortress dominating the surrounding landscape. The village is small, perfectly preserving an authentic and tranquil medieval atmosphere. Driving through Radicofani in a Ferrari is a simply magical experience where ancient and modern combine! It truly feels like a swift journey back in time to the Middle Ages, among knights and ladies!
Ferrari Tour in Val d’Orcia: Route to Bagno Vignoni
After leaving Radicofani, the road continues to twist through woods and hills, leading to a long straight stretch where guests could test the cars' speed and power before arriving at Bagno Vignoni. Bagno Vignoni is one of Tuscany's most unique villages, thanks to its thermal springs, which form a large pool in the main square, surrounded by ancient medieval buildings. Here, guests could take a walk through the narrow streets of the village, visit the remains of the Roman baths, or simply enjoy a coffee at one of the outdoor cafés overlooking the large basin in the main square! It was here that the guests could take a relaxing break before getting back behind the steering wheel of the Ferraris and, curve after curve, return to the starting point!
