Presented at the Monterey Car Week, the Lamborghini Lanzador is a 100% electric grand tourer 2+2 which represents the latest addition to the world of super cars at the end of summer and helps to confirm the unstoppable trend in the world of supercars towards electric and true sustainable revolution in the automotive world.
Lanzador is currently only a concept car but it would seem ready to become a series production starting from 2028! It is in itself a real turning point for Lamborghini as Sant'Agata Bolognese’s firm is actively working towards the electrification of its range of vehicles and decarbonization. In fact, the new Lanzador fits perfectly into Lamborghini's global CO2 reduction strategy and the ain of a sustainable future.
Lamborghini Lanzador: engine
The Lamborghini Lanzador is 100% electric. Each axle of the Lamborghini Lanzador is equipped with an electric motor but at the moment Lamborghini has not provided data on the power delivered by each of the two electric motors. However, there was talk of a maximum system power of more than a megawatt (over 1,369 hp) distributed over the all-wheel drive and a sophisticated torque distribution model active on the rear axle.
Lamborghini Lanzador: futuristic design and sustainable interiors
From the very first glance, the Lamborghini Lanzador attracts attention with its captivating design that blends elegant lines and sculpted edges with cutting-edge aerodynamics that exploit the ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) system introduced by the Huracan Performante and Aventador. New active aerodynamic devices are also added both at the front and at the rear to improve range and energy consumption, in Urban driving mode, and aerodynamic load in Performance mode.
The cabin is a perfect fusion of elegance and modernity, with contemporary infotainment systems and driver assistance features seamlessly integrated into the design. Intuitive touchscreens provide access to multiple functions, allowing the driver to stay connected but always maintain focus on the road ahead.
In fact, the advanced safety systems are always silently active, improving the driving experience and at the same time guaranteeing maximum protection for both the driver and passengers. From cruise control to lane departure warnings, the Lanzador is equipped to handle all driving needs.
The cockpit of the new Lamborghini Lanzador is indeed a futuristic space, which follows Lamborghini's "Feel like a pilot" philosophy. In fact, it combines aerospace-inspired elements with the concept of a Gran Turismo 2+2, thus creating a very sporty four-seater but also suitable for carrying luggage or sports equipment. The interior of the new Lamborghini Lanzador also incorporates the typical Lamborghini stylistic elements, such as the center console in the shape of a "Y" with driver and passenger separated by the center console with the control unit with infotainment system, air conditioning and digital functions . Also noteworthy is the use of eco-sustainable materials for the construction of the interiors, such as the foam of the seats made with 3D printed recycled fibers.
Lamborghini Lanzador: futuristic engineering and sustainability
With the launch of the new Lanzador, Lamborghini confirms once again its continuous pursuit of excellence in both engineering and design and aligns itself with the global trend of supercars towards a future of inseparable synergy between technology and sustainability
